Here are some key points from the Club Meeting on Wednesday:· Upcoming Events:-Leo Club Meeting on January 27. This is a key meeting for them and is important for us to attend. Please go if possible.-Club Meeting February 1-Bland Competition February 7. We need people to sign up and will do signups again at the February 1 meeting.
-Club Meeting February 15-Winter Conference in Fredericksburg Febray 24-25. This will include some very interesting Service Projects on Saturday.-Mulch Sale March 24-25. Sue is preparing the flyers and we need everybody to work of Selling Mulch-March 16 The Leo Club will operate the Sight and Hearing Van Screenings· The Health and Fitness Fair in DC on Saturday and Sunday was a very large event attended by thousands of people. Pretty much filled up the main hall of the Convention Center. Lions were well-represented.· We endorsed Jim Ryan for Second Vice President of the District. This means he is in line for District Governor is a few years. Congratulations to Jim.· Wearing her District hat, Anne Ryan spoke to us about Membership ideas and other topics.
