The Reston Lions will be hosting a Sight and Hearing van event at the Taiwan Tzu Chi Foudation USA Buddhist Temple in Reston, VA as part of the Reston's Working Sunday event on Sunday August 18th from 1pm-5pm. Anyone needing to have screenings done are welcome to show up during our hours for Free screenings and assisted referrals.
"This is one of many of these types of events we plan to offer throughout the area this year. Our focus and mission this year in the club is on Service and as 'Knights of the Blind' Sight and Hearing Van events are an easy place to start," Club President, Don Leas. Any interested Lions that would also like to show up for service are welcome. Any community members that would like to volunteer for the event are encouraged to contact Don Leas.
